A&S Council officer elections today

The Sarah Peters-lead Arts & Sciences Student Council will conclude a tumultuous year today as the Council holds its elections for officers on Tuesday April 25 at 6:30 pm in the courtyard of the Oak Street Residence Hall.

Peters and the other Arts & Sciences (A&S) Student council officers and members successfully fought off multiple attempts this year by Tent State University supporters to force them off the Council, most notably when both Marcus Leach and Andy Culp tried to remove SGA Senators Jason Finley and Justin Smith the day before Leach was removed as SGA President.

I've been incredibly flattered to have such three journalism non-talents as Mara Rose Williams, Brittany Lane, and Emily Iorg lavish so much attention on both me and UMKC's Student Government Association (SGA) Senate this year. As reporters, the three have shown that they make the absolute best employees of UMKC's public relations office in towing the party line of how truly malevolent those SGA Senators are.
